The American Music Jubilee Character Education
Spook Joyner, Owner of the American Music Jubilee in cooperation with the North Carolina Schools saw a way to use our comedy routine to promote character education in our schools.
This is not the same production that we do at night or on Saturdays for our regular shows. These performances are designed to show positive reinforcement of teachers' efforts to teach character education. Let us support you in your efforts to teach your character education curriculum, while at the same time, enjoying some great music and side-splitting comedy!!
The kids come to the theatre and are entertained by our comedian, Mickey Nines. Nines plays a character that is a not so intelligent country hick. The kids laugh a lot and think he is silly.
What
could be better than music and comedy to allow your students to have
a taste of live entertainment while learning more about "building
character for a better
tomorrow"?
When Nines steps out of his character and the children are able to see that he isn’t what they thought at all. He is actually a very intelligent, warm man playing a character. Through their own eyes they can see how you act is really how people perceive you. The one-hour show allows those kids to receive a lesson that takes some folks a lifetime to learn.
Our
student matinee
show includes comedy
and songs about self-discipline,
responsibility, patriotism,
loyalty, respect and much more!
